Hamzah called last weekend for me to ride shotgun with him for a Malay wedding shoot at a hotel in PJ. I thought this would be a good oppotunity for me to brush up my photo skills for events. Surprise of the evening - Siti Nurhalizah was a guest and she sang a couple of numbers for the guests too.

Cheng Yen Restaurant

Since moving to Damansara Perdana, we had been checking out the food outlets in the area. Not as extensive as a matured area like SS2 but certainly less hassle in looking for a car park as it's relatively quiet in the evenings. Cheng Yen restaurant opened about a month ago is not exactly new but a branch of Man Cheng Yen, a restaurant we used to frequent in Desa Jaya. Shots of some items we had couple of weeks back.

Monday is eat-in night. Cooked with an original Spanish paella pan....arborio rice, prawns, octopus, ham slices, capsicum, onions & green peas.

Home cooked meal

First proper meal to come out of the new oven last night. Roast chicken & potatoes with romaine lettuce & cherry tomatoes washed down with some Spanish wine...

Kids at Armanee

Last weekend the niece & nephews came over our place to try out the swimming pool. Pretty quiet due to the low occupancy presently. There are 2 pools here & quite well maintained. Let's hope it stays that way.
