And goodbye to the old faithful the Nikon D70s, my first DSLR. Sold off the item to an enthusiastic chappie who came all the way from Cyberjaya to pick up the D70s two nights ago. Replacing it will the D80 touted as a D200 of sorts. High ISO noise is said to be well controlled. We'll see about that....

A good choice to replace the D70s. Rather than "downgrading" the D80 is an "upgrade" of the D80.
No.. I I am still sticking to my camera at the moment. No reason for me to upgrade. If an upgrade is required, then a D2X would be a good choice!!
Yeah...D2Xs is the top dog in the Nikon line-up. Go for it!
Hi Vincent. The D80 is for the missus. She's getting interested into photography too. The D80 is smaller & easier to handle.
