And so for the first time in many years, Chinese New Year's eve was spent not at my hometown but at the airport waiting for the flight to Singapore which will then connect us via Air France to Paris wherein another connecting flight to Madrid. Yes, we'll be spending CNY in Spain this year! A 10-day tour which covers Madrid, Cordoba, Seville, Granada, Valencia & Barcelona. As a result of the transit times, we finally reached Madrid around lunchtime Sunday (GMT+1) i.e. almost 18 h0urs! A city tour of Madrid was on the itinerary.
